Fr. Daniel Renaud, OMI is a Roman Catholic priest with the Congregation of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate (OMI). After many years working as a drama teacher, he earned a Bachelor of Theology at Saint Paul University, Ottawa (1999) and holds an MA in Youth Ministry from Boston College, Massachusetts. He also studied in the Christian Spirituality program at Creighton University. Fr. Renaud was mentored into retreat ministry by Fr. Ronald Rolheiser, president of the Oblate School of Theology in San Antonio, TX. Preacher, speaker and spiritual guide in both Canada and the USA, FR. Renaud has extensive experience in spiritual direction and in the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises and is a member of Spiritual Director Interational (SDI). He is now director at Immaculata Retreat House, an oblate apostolate in Willlimantic, CT.
A native of Berlin, New Hampshire in the White Mountains, Fr. Roger has taught moral theology and social ethics for 22 years at the Oblate Seminary in Natick, Massachusetts. During that time, he also served as Ethics Consultant for St. Joseph Hospital in Lowell, Massachusetts. Since 1983, he has been involved in full-time retreat ministry, first at the Oblate Retreat House in Hudson, New Hampshire, where he served as Director, and currently at Immaculata. He took a temporary leave from this ministry from September 1999 to June 2003 when he went to the Oblate mission in Tahiti, French Polynesia, to teach Moral Theology at the diocesan seminary founded by the Oblates there. Among his special interests are: spiritual direction, directed retreats and Engaged Encounter Retreats for those preparing for Christian marriage.
Fr. Robert D. Morin, OMI, is a priest of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. Born and raised in Lowell, MA, he was ordained to the priesthood on September 6, 1969. Fr. Morin’s experience as a priest has been extensive and varied. He holds a Master of Divinity Degree from Boston College and an M.A. Degree in Psychology of Religion from Boston University. Most of his ministry has been in preaching retreats and parish missions. However he has also worked, in New England, in parish ministry, psychiatric chaplaincy, adult education, counseling and spiritual direction. He has also been director of the Ephpheta Retreat Center in Cumberland, RI, and of the Oblate Retreat Center in Hudson, NH. He has also served as a member of the provincial administration of the Northern Province of the U.S. Oblates. In addition, Fr. Morin served for seven years as a Reserve Chaplain in the United States Air Force, principally at Pease AFB. From 1995 to 2004, Fr. Morin worked with the Oblate Preaching Team in the Midwestern states, and in 2004 moved to Southern California in order to continue preaching in the Pacific Northwest. He returned to the Midwest (St. Paul, MN) in 2007 and continued to preach missions in both the North Central States and in Alaska. Fr. Morin has served as Associate Pastor in the White Earth, MN Communities as well as conducting some parish missions in the Crookston, MN Diocese. From 2014 to 2015, Fr. Morin ministered to pilgrims at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Cape (Notre Dame du Cap) in Trois-Rivières, Canada. He returned to the US in 2015 and served as Associate Pastor at St. Casimir’s Parish n St. Paul, MN. This past year. Fr. Morin has served on the staff of Immaculate Heart of Mary Novitiate [Seminary] in Godfrey, IL.
Paulette has been closely associated with Immaculata Retreat House for over 55 years. She is fluent in both French and English. She hosts retreats, conferences, performs spiritual direction, counseling and is a Eucharistic Minister.
In 2005, she was appointed construction manager and was responsible for administering and directing the complete rebuilding of the retreat house. In 2010, she retired as Director of Immaculata Retreat House.
In 2014, she became an honorary member of the Congregation of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, the highest award bestowed upon a non-religious person.
Today, she continues to be active in spiritual direction and retreat work.
Claudette Lachance is a commissioned Oblate Associate since November 9th of 2014 and his co-leader of the Associates at Immaculata. She has facilitated many retreats (French Retreat, Grieving and Growing and the Oblate Associates Retreat) at Immaculata Retreat house. In 2007, Claudette completed the Gift of Grace Program for the Prison Ministry from the Diocese of Norwich, where she served for 7 years as a prayer partner and retreat facilitator at the York Correctional Facility. Claudette is also a certified Spiritual Director from The Spiritual Life Center (2010). She has obtained a certificate from the Archdiocese of Hartford, for the four year program of Biblical Advance Studies in 2014. She also received a certificate in 2016 for the New Day Bereavement Program. She is an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist at St. Teresa of Culcutta in Manchester. (Saint Bridget / Saint Barts) and the leader of the Compassionate Ministry, for beareved people and families. She plays an active part in planning funeral and remembrance liturgies.
