Remembering Fr. Olivier Renaud, OMI

Fr. Olivier Renaud Dedication at Immaculata Retreat House

On Sunday, 7 September, the Oblates together with some 100 friends and family of the late Fr. Olivier Renaud, OMI (1924-2007) gathered at Immaculata to honor his memory – he had ministered here for some 3 decades.

A Marian garden, an island of serenity at the gateway to this house of prayer, was professionally landscaped and formally dedicated to his memory. A plaque memorializing him was installed at the foot of the beautiful statue of the Virgin Mary that has stood welcoming all who have come here seeking hope and consolation over the years. In addition, a framed portrait of Fr. Renaud was blessed and has been installed in the Retreat House foyer as a remembrance for his many, many friends.
